a message to my mom
there are those who stop you from who you must become.
they try to stop you from reaching destiny
because they were never smart enough to find it themselves.
they try to live your life for you. and instead of happiness and sweet dreams,
we lay down at night with head aches and nightmares of the argument
that had just happened.
my dreams are my dreams.
my life is my life.
you do not know everything.
you do not own me anymore.
i regret nothing i say.
I hope one day my mom
will realize she doesn’t have a grip over me,
and that i am better off on my own.
